The ibus input method selection via menu is broken.

On one system (Kubuntu 11.04), I can select the three radio buttons at the same time (see attached screenshot), leaving me not knowing which is actually enabled.

On another system (Kubuntu 11.10), I cannot actually select any input method via the menu. The entries appear properly, but only the default input method is selectable. To switch input method, I must use the keyboard shortcut.

I am having the same problem! I can't make any language selections in 11.10 Did you ever resolve this issue?

No. The bug is still open upstream.
I can only use the keyboard shortcut to change input methods.
