When we click on the 'maximize window' button, it toggles the window state between maximize and normal state.
In the KDE systemsettings shortcut settings page, there is a shortcut for "maximize window". It actually took me a long while to realize that this was actually a "toggle window maximize" state button, so it probably should be relabelled as such.
