Description

I had a look at:
$ man dircolors
and at the bottom of the man page, there is:

SEE ALSO
The full documentation for dircolors is maintained as a Texinfo manual. If the info and dircolors programs are properly installed at your site, the command

info coreutils 'dircolors invocation'

should give you access to the complete manual.

So I dutifully tried:

$ info coreutils 'dircolors invocation'

but I got a page that was not what I expected.

1) the error said:
No menu in node `(coreutils.info.bz2)coreutils invocation'.

2) the error was not obvious, printed at the bottom of the page, in the same colour as the rest of the page, so at first it was not obvious that that something was amiss and I was confused. The error warning should be made more obvious.

However, in Konqueror, I did info:dircolors and got info:coreutils/dircolors invocation, so the relevant info page is properly installed on the system.
